Google Pixel 4 Features
November 22, 2019
With a month of sales under its belt, the Google Pixel 4 is one of the new contenders for smartphone sales during the 2019 holiday season. Now that more users have had the time to consider its features and take it for a ride, its similarities and differences to other smartphones on the market are coming to light.
Wondering if you should stock the Google Pixel 4? Here are some of features of Google’s newest smartphone.
The Pixel 4 is smaller than the iPhone 11, which makes it more comfortable for smaller hands and for sticking in your back pocket. Its smaller size means it can be used one-handed, although it is slightly heavier than the Pixel 3.
The Pixel 4 is cheaper than other smartphones on the market. The standard Pixel 4 model is 5.7 inches and starts at $799; the 6.3-inch Pixel 4 XL starts at $899. Both prices are below some models of iPhone and Samsung Galaxy.
The 4 runs on one of the newest chips available on the market, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, with 6 GB of RAM. Although there are more advanced 855+ chips in other phones already out there, they’re geared toward hardcore gamers.
The cameras are a notable improvement to other phones, with both a 12-megapixel rear camera, plus a 16-megapixel telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is 8 megapixels, with 4k video capturing capability.
Instead of a fingerprint unlock feature, the Pixel 4 uses facial recognition to unlock.
