The New iPhone 12

Apple usually releases their newest iPhone models in September every year. However, this year won’t follow the same trend. Due to manufacturing delays in China thanks to the coronavirus, Apple has delayed the release date on its newest iteration, and they’re not saying when the release will actually happen. At this point the release date is just conjecture, but general consensus says the date will likely be in mid-October.

Meanwhile, Apple fans are already hungry to learn about the bells and whistles the newest iPhone will sport. 

Although there are many rumors about what will and will not be included in the new iPhone 12, there is some information available about the new smartphone. 

According to various sources, there will be four different models of the new iPhone 12:

All versions of the new iPhone 12 are expected to be 5G compatible, although it’s unclear whether they’ll have the mmWave or sub-6Ghz versions of 5G. Some rumors state all models will have the sub-6GHz band. Although it’s a slightly slower version, it covers the widest range at the longest distance.
