Exciting New Technology at CES 2020
January 23, 2020
As retailers, it’s important to stay on top of new trends. The CES technology show in Las Vegas is a yearly product show that gives a glimpse into what brands are working on, and an inside look at what the next biggest seller to fly off retail shelves will likely be.
Here are some of the promising products from the floor of CES 2020:
Belkin Soundform Elite
Belkin, a well-known tech company producing popular goods since 1983, presented their newest wireless speaker: the Soundform Elite. The speaker is built to cradle a phone as it charges wirelessly and also acts as a quality speaker. It’s built to reduce vibration for better sound quality, even if the phone vibrates or bounces around.
Otterbox Antimicrobial Screens
Germaphobes aren’t the only ones that should be worried about cooties: smartphones pick up all sorts of germs from constantly being handled and put down over the course of a day. These screen protectors are a new offering from Corning and Otterbox, makers of quality protective covers for smartphones and other devices. The screens are infused with EPA-registered antimicrobial technology to better protect smartphone users from the everyday bacteria and germs they may pick up.
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook
The newest Chromebook has a lot to offer. Although Google’s Chrome-based laptop is traditionally known as an affordable but not very powerful computing option, all that has changed with this version. In a partnership with Samsung, this new Galaxy Chromebook sports a 10th generation Intel Core i5 processor, 16 GB of memory and a full terabyte of SSD storage. It also sports an ultra-high definition AMOLED display and weighs a mere 2.2 pounds.
